What is The Parkwest Joint Replacement Center?
The Parkwest Joint Replacement Center is a specifically designed program for total knee and total hip replacement patients.
In our convenient East Tennessee location, we offer you the chance to become a key part of your comprehensive joint care team experience.
When you trust your joint replacement needs to Parkwest Medical Center, you’ll become a part of your medical care team, by being involved in education about your procedure. You’ll feel supported and involved from before your surgery is scheduled, through when you return home from the hospital.
A special joint replacement class teaches our joint replacement patients everything you need to help manage expectations about your hospital experience and stay with us.
Because we know that knowledge is power. Our joint replacement patients who understand what to expect during the surgical and rehabilitation process have better outcomes.
Patients are encouraged to have a coach by their side. Your Joint Coach can be either a family member or friend.
Family involvement and active participation by patients is encouraged by Parkwest Medical Center for both your pre-surgical education and post-op recovery.
